Heli Lounge Bar Kuala Lumpur, KL’s best kept secret.

I visited the Heli Lounge Bar in Kuala Lumpur few months back, surprised my boyfriend here since it was his birthday. It’s pretty easy to locate.

I didn’t make a booking, but just in case, I did gave them a call before heading there, and they say it is not necessary to make a booking on that day, if I showed up early. Upon reaching, you have to purchase a drink and they will walk you up to the rooftop. It’s not quite suitable for people who are afraid of heights though, but worry not, there is also a place to chill in a more enclosed lounge 2 flights of stairs below the helipad.

They also offer tidbits but during my time of visit they did not serve heavy food.

You get to see Kuala Lumpur’s iconic building clearly from up there, the Menara Kuala Lumpur and The Twin Tower.

The scenery of Kuala Lumpur city from the helipad is occasional, you don’t get that view everyday.

I wouldn’t say it has a breathtaking view but it definitely is an urbane + sophisticated place to chill, once in a while.

If you are planning to give this place a visit, it is more advisable to give this place a call or message them via facebook for a more convenient visit (because sometimes they are closed due to private events/ bad weather) :
